No Borders Derby Tournament - March 7-9, 2025

This was the second No Borders Derby tournament! Y'Allstars Southern Skate Showdown - January 2025

The Y'Allstars Southern Skate Showdown will be rolling into Thibodaux, Louisiana, from January 30 through February 2, 2025! Now in its third year (and IRRD's third year in attendance), this international roller derby tournament will pit high-level roller derby teams against each other over four action-packed days. yallstars.com

Team Retreat and Training Camp - October 2024

The team hosted our very first team retreat and training camp. Three days of training in beautiful Seneca Nation, New York and we hosted our first game against Buffalo's very own Queen City Roller Derby.

 

Skate Wars 2024 - September 6-8, 2024

Indigenous Rising participated in the first annual Skate Wars in Lansing, Michigan.

 

Y'Allstars Southern Skate Showdown - February 2024

Indigenous Rising returned to participate in the 2nd Annual Y'Allstars Southern Skate Showdown in Thibodaux, Louisiana in February 2024.

 

No Borders Derby Tournament - November 11-12, 2023

Indigenous Rising and the No Borders Derby Collective hosted our very first round-roubin style tournament in Denver, Colorado.

Exposition Game at WFTDA Roller Derby Championships - November 2019

Team Indigenous Rising participated in an exposition game at the WFTDA Roller Derby Championships in Montréal, Quebec, Canada against Jewish Roller Derby in the first time either of our teams have been featured on the WFTDA stage. Read more here >>

Roller Derby World Cup - February 2018

Our first appearance at the Roller Derby World Cup, an international tournament and the ultimate platform for flat track roller derby. The 2018 World Cup brought together 38 teams from all over the world to Manchester, United Kingdom.
